Great question! Interest is calculated daily and either charged or paid to your account monthly. Our overdraft interest rate is floating, meaning it is subject to change from time to time. Our savings interest rate is subject to change from time to time, without notice. Our current interest rates will always be available on our website.

We will order you a card, it will take one to two weeks to arrive, but don’t fear we’ll deliver your card straight to your door. You won’t even need to change out of your PJs.
With Online EFTPOS
you can purchase some of the things you desire online without the plastic. There are 100s of clever retailers who already have Online EFTPOS, with more joining the revolution all the time. Just look out for Online EFTPOS
when you’re at the checkout.
Our transaction cut off time is 7pm. This means that payments after that will process over the next business night. Lights out at 7pm!
YouChoose is a savings account with an optional overdraft – so you can choose whether you’d like to add on an overdraft or keep it just for savings. The overdraft is based on two months of your average income. However, you can choose to have a lower amount to a minimum of $500. The maximum is $10,000.
We’ll be in contact to let you know. You may be subject to what is called excess interest. If applicable, you will be charged interest at an excess interest rate on what you owe, over and above your overdraft limit. For full details see our T&Cs
If you are having financial difficulty get in touch – we may be able to help. If you are unable to keep up your payments because of illness, injury, loss of employment, the end of a relationship, or other reasonable cause, you may be able to ask us to vary the terms of this agreement (we call this a Hardship Variation). To make it even easier for you, your card comes preloaded with a PIN. Although if you’d like to make this something a bit more personalised, just pop into any Heartland or Westpac branch with your ID.
