1. Attract more members and more income

Heartland is a great community resource that gives you excellent exposure. We’re offering you an affordable way to raise your profile in your community. That can mean more members and more membership income.

2. You can tell the whole story in your own words

Having your own webpage will give you the space to tell your community everything they need to know about your group. But the best bit is, you will be able to change your webpage yourself whenever it suits you. So for example, if you are:

• a sports club, you can update your fixtures list and upload maps or photos;
• a community group, you can keep an online diary of meetings and upload minutes or agendas.

It’s easy to do, you stay in control and we save you money. Once your webpage is up, we’ll email you a password, user name and instructions on how to add text, photos and a logo.

3. Keep your members well informed

We want to make Heartland invaluable so we have also built in an email alert feature. This means that your members can sign up to be alerted by email when your web page changes. This is particularly useful for groups that have regular newsletters they email out. Your secretary just needs to upload the document to the website once, and all members set to receive email alerts get notified by email that your web page has changed. They then go online and get the new information. Very helpful when dealing with slow rural phone lines!
