Heartland Deposits

Heartland Deposits are a fixed interest rate, fixed term investment, which will suit you if you are looking for certainty of regular returns. Interest is paid quarterly or annually and terms range from 30 days to five years.

We are currently offering a special rate on our 90 day and 12 month Heartland Term Deposits.

How to invest

It is easy to invest in a Heartland Deposit.

Step 1 - Choose the product, term and rate and complete the relevant application form

To invest in a Heartland Deposit simply choose the investment product, term and rate that best suits your needs and then complete the relevant application form available below. Step 2 - Pay your investment amount

Once you've completed the application form, choose how you'd like to pay your investment amount.

Cheque

Please make your cheque payable to 'Heartland Building Society'.

Direct Credit

You can pay your investment amount directly into our bank account – ANZ Bank 01-0194-0127500-02. Please make sure you include your surname as a reference and either fax your application to us on 09 927 9321 or email it to invest@heartland.co.nz the day you make the payment. Please also post your original application form to us.

Step 3 - Post your investment

Please send your application form, and cheque or direct debit form (if applicable) to Heartland Building Society, Freepost 4040, PO Box 9919, Newmarket, Auckland 1149.

Alternatively you can take your application form and investment payment to any CBS Canterbury, PGG Wrightson Finance or Southern Cross branch.

What happens next

When we’ve processed your application we’ll send you a Heartland Deposit Certificate showing details of your investment.
