Locations and Roles
Heartland offers a variety of roles, in locations across New Zealand. Our corporate offices are located in Auckland and Christchurch, and we have field-based roles and branches located throughout the North and South Islands.
Business Division
Our Business division is responsible for lending to the small to medium-sized business market. The Business division contains a mix of field-based business development positions, and sales support and administration roles in our corporate offices.
Consumer Division
Our Consumer division looks after lending to individuals – through vehicle finance – and providing motor vehicle insurance.
Rural Division
Our Rural division looks after lending to the agri-business sector – through finance for livestock and plant and machinery, and for working capital funding.
Retail Division
Our Retail division is responsible for personal transaction services, savings and mortgage products, as well as running our branch network across the country. Roles within Retail include tellers, customer service and management positions.
Investments
Our Investment team is based in both Auckland and Christchurch and looks after Heartland Building Society's deposits and funding. Roles within the team include product, treasury, compliance and administration positions.
Operations, Finance and Risk
We have large Operations, Finance and Risk teams that are spread across our Auckland and Christchurch offices. There are a wide variety of roles in these areas including reception, administration, customer service and team leadership, as well as IT, risk and compliance, accountancy, legal, product, marketing and human resources roles.
